In May, staff and management at CRH Medical took several steps forward to grow the business and raise the Company’s profile on Bay Street and Wall Street.
From a capital markets perspective, CRH Medical’s CEO Edward Wright, and CFO Richard Bear, opened the market this morning to celebrate the Company’s graduation from the TSX Venture Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Graduating to the Toronto Stock Exchange from the TSX Venture Exchange is a significant corporate milestone that should increase CRH’s profile with prospective investors, and improve our stock’s liquidity in the long term. Hopefully this event will be an indication of the good things to come for CRH Medical and its shareholders. We’d like to extend our appreciation to all of our friends who participated in the market open with us today.
Over the past couple of days while in Toronto, we have also been attending BioFinance, Canada’s largest life sciences investment conference. With our days filled with investor meetings, we’ve been able to continue to share our story with the investment community. As it stands, we’ve been very well received by all parties and we look forward to furthering these discussions.
Earlier this month, Edward Wright and the Company’s Chairman of the Board, Tony Holler, were in New York introducing the story to the investment community there. Much of the feedback we received focussed on two key themes:
1. We like what you are doing
2. We want to see you keep growing the business
That feedback is consistent with our thinking and we are looking forward to continuing to build the Company.
Operationally, a few weeks ago, management attended Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in San Diego. DDW is the world’s largest gathering of physicians and researchers in the fields of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery. About half of the attending physicians are from North America; the other half are practicing internationally.
DDW was a wonderful opportunity to solidify our relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry and build new relationships with the sector’s thought leaders. It was also a valuable way to effectively catch up with current customers and speak to prospective new ones.
Additionally, the conference gave us an opportunity to make connections with potential global distributors for our single use O’Regan System, which is clinically proven to treat all grades of hemorrhoids, and is quickly becoming the gold standard for gastroenterologists throughout the United States.
We look forward to sharing June’s edition of the CRH Investor Bulletin with you next month, and as always, we appreciate your interest and support.
