September 2014

Dear shareholders and prospective shareholders,

What do Kansas City Royals’ retired slugger George Brett and film divas Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor have in common? They have all (apparently) suffered from hemorrhoids.
A recent article published in The San Francisco Examiner summarizes the market opportunity for CRH Medical by quantifying the problem – by age 50, half of all men and women will develop hemorrhoids.

That data is also in-line with National Institute of Health information that we reference in our corporate presentation. To review our presentation, please click the following link:

In addition, the Examiner article cites a number of over-the-counter remedies for the condition that provide symptom relief but are not curative.

One of the reasons we’re optimistic about CRH Medical’s future is we know that we have a safe and efficacious treatment for grades 1-3 hemorrhoids.

As more and more gastroenterologists and other medical practitioners learn about the CRH O’Regan System, we feel we have an exceptional opportunity to continue growing our market share and the Company.

GI Conferences

September kicked off GI conference season in the U.S. and CRH attended four meetings throughout the month.

During the first two weeks, we exhibited at the ACG/Virginia Gastroenterological Society meeting in Williamsburg, Virginia, and then at the ACG/Florida Gastroenterologic Society meeting in Boca Raton, Florida.

Both are regional meetings where we were able to speak with a number of existing customers as well as garner a number of new prospective client leads.

During the third weekend of September, we participated in the Texas Society for Gastroenterology Endoscopy (TSGE) conference in Austin, Texas. Concurrently, CRH Medical representatives also attended the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy’s Endofest in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The TSGE’s annual program brings together gastroenterologists from around the state. As Texas is one of the states where we have the most trained physicians, this was a great opportunity to help grow the banding procedure within their practices.

Endofest offers educational sessions for endoscopy practitioners across the country. This meeting enabled us to speak with a number of physicians and generate a significant amount of new customer leads to work with.

Looking ahead, October promises to be a busy month as well for conferences.

We look forward to sharing the October edition of the CRH Investor Bulletin with you, and as always, we appreciate your interest and support.
