Dear shareholders and prospective shareholders,
On September 21st, CRH Medical CEO, Edward Wright presented at the CIBC 15th Annual Eastern Institutional Investors Conference in Montreal, QC. Institutional investors from Canada, as well as the US attended to hear from a strong list of presenting companies. This opportunity was made possible by the initiation of research coverage by CIBC Institutional Equity Research earlier in the month. The initiation of research coverage from one of Canada’s largest banks is a significant step in expanding awareness of CRH Medical’s compelling investment opportunity within the investment community. It also increases our ability to access new potential institutional and retail investors.
In addition to the marketing that took place at the CIBC Institutional Conference in Montreal, management spent time marketing to accounts in Toronto and Vancouver. Keeping existing and potential shareholders updated on our progress with in-person meetings is an important facet of our investor relations strategy. Regular phone conversations with analysts and fund managers are important, but face to face meetings help build confidence in management and create a track record of credibility over time.
With conference season now in full swing, CRH attended a record number of meetings in September. Six of the seven GI meetings that took place over a 3 week period were local or regional events, with one drawing in attendees nationwide (Endofest – Phoenix, AZ),
Two of the meetings provided us with an opportunity to demo the CRH O’Regan System during the “hands-on” sessions for attendees – something that always assists in generating new leads.
Additionally, the both the ACG/VGS Regional Postgraduate Course in Williamsburg, VA and the annual conference put on by the Texas Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in Austin, TX allowed us to re-engage with a number of physicians who we’ve spoken with in the past on the anesthesia front.
If you have any questions regarding CRH, or have anything would like to discuss directly, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to updating you again in a month’s time.
